At Heard Psychotherapy, you'll find a safe, affirming, and accepting space to explore your thoughts and feelings. I am committed to utilizing evidence-based therapies while providing an environment where you can feel supported, heard, and given the opportunity to explore at your own pace. 

How Can We Collaborate?

The purpose of individual therapy is to help an individual deal with their concerns, emotions, and situations in a helpful and supportive manner. I utilize a variety of interventions taken from many of the evidence based modalities including CBT, DBT, CPT, SFBT, and MBSR.

Couple's counseling focuses on improving relationship satisfaction and conflict resolution between couples. I utilize interventions from Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) and The Gottman Method to help increase intimacy, respect, and affection within a relationship.

The Services page has more information about how we can work together and some common ways therapy can be beneficial to individuals and couples.

It is my goal to meet you wherever you are in your mental health journey, whether you have chronic mental health conditions or, something completely new to you. I look forward to exploring with you new ways to interact with the world around you and the symptoms that you experience. Below are a few of the most common conditions we treat via teletherapy.

If you think I would be a good fit for you, use the schedule a free consultation button or reach out via telephone to (219) 202-8747 so we can schedule a consultation call.

Consultation Call

During our free 15-minute consultation call, we will discuss what brings you to therapy, determine whether we would be a good fit, and schedule our first appointment.

Client Portal

After our consultation, you will receive an email welcoming you to Heard Psychotherapy. This email will also ask you to create a client portal to complete the necessary forms prior to our first appointment.

Meet via Telehealth

All of our sessions will be held virtually through the client portal. See the FAQs page if you are having trouble logging into our appointment.
